War Update: 215 Clashes On Front Line Over Past Day, Pokrovsk And Kostiantynivka Sectors Hottest

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in its situation update as of 8:00 on September 3.

Russian forces launched 98 airstrikes, dropping 353 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian troops used 10,672 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,933 shelling attacks, including 25 using multiple rocket launchers.

The areas under attack included Bachivsk, Bezsalivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Hirky, Iskryskivshchyna, Malushyne, Neskuchne, Sopych, Atynske, Yanzhulivka, Lomlenka, Rohizne, Volfyne, Potapivka, Kruzhok, Nova Sich, Kucherivka, Sukhodil, Mala Slobidka, Simeichyne, Holyshevske, Budky, and Shpyl in the Sumy region, as well as Krasnyi Khutir in the Chernihiv region.

Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery struck three clusters of Russian personnel, seven artillery guns and positions, three UAV control posts, a warehouse-workshop, a command post and another important target.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces launched one assault. They carried out 78 shelling attacks and five strikes using 11 guided aerial bombs.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian units repelled seven Russian attacks. The enemy attempted to advance toward Lyman, Khatnie, Vodiane, Volokhivka, Mala Vovcha, and Starytsia.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces launched nine assaults toward Radkivka, Kivsharivka, and Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops attacked eight times toward Shyikivka, Dibrova, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, and Lyman.

In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy launched eight assaults near Kryva Luka and toward Ozernе.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces carried out one offensive operation toward Yurkivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 25 enemy attacks were recorded. Russian forces conducted assaults in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Mykolaipillia, Sofiivka, Vilne, and Rusynyi Yar.

Russian forces launched 31 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector, attempting to advance toward Hannivka, Bilytske, Vilne, Dobropillia, Novofedorivka, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, and Myrne, as well as near Molodetske, Novopidhorodnie, Hryshyne, and Udachne.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces conducted no assault operations.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces attacked four times, attempting to advance toward Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka, and Hirke.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped five Russian attempts to advance near Novoandriivka, Novoiaklivka, Stepove, Prymorske, and Mali Shcherbaky.

In the Dnipro River sector, the enemy made no attempts to improve their positions.

No signs of Russian forces forming offensive groupings were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian forces from the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, through September 3, 2026, amount to approximately 1,492,350 personnel.
