Russian Sabotage Groups Show No Significant Activity Along Border - Spox Demchenko

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Andrii Demchenko, a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, announced this during a briefing at Ukrinform.

“Overall, the activity of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups remains low, as before; however, the enemy has not completely abandoned the use of such groups, and the threat posed by saboteurs persists. Recently, it has been noted that periodic attempts by enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been observed within the Sumy region,” the spokesperson said.

He noted:“Generally speaking, along the borders of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, the enemy has for quite some time been relying primarily on infantry groups in an attempt to expand the boundaries of its control-that is, to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory-but, fortunately, thanks to the resilience and courage of all Ukrainian soldiers, the enemy has been unable to achieve any significant success.”

As reported by Ukrinform, Russia currently does not have a strike force near Ukraine's northern border, but a potential threat from that direction remains.
