Jordan Condemns Iranian Attacks On Saudi Tanker, Bahrain, Kuwait
AMMAN - Jordan on Wednesday strongly condemned the Iranian attack targeting a Saudi tanker passing through the Strait of Hormuz as a“flagrant” violation of international law and a threat to maritime navigation safety and security.
In a Foreign Ministry statement, the Kingdom reaffirmed its absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia, emphasising full support for all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to protect its security, stability, and assets.
Also on Wednesday, the Kingdom strongly condemned the Iranian aggression against Bahrain and Kuwait as a“flagrant” violation of their sovereignty, a threat to their security, stability, and territorial integrity, a dangerous escalation, and a“blatant” breach of international law and the UN Charter.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry reiterated Jordan's absolute solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait, stressing full support for all measures taken by both countries to protect their sovereignty, security, citizens, and residents.
