Authority: Air Traffic Continues Normally Despite Limited Flight Cancellations
Amman, Sept. 2 (Petra) -- Jordan's air traffic is continuing normally to and from the Kingdom's airports, with only limited cancellations reported Tuesday night, Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) Chief Commissioner Daifallah Farajat said Wednesday.
He noted that 28 airlines are currently operating regularly to and from Jordanian airports. The cancellations recorded Tuesday night were limited to some foreign carriers, several of which resumed operations Wednesday, particularly to transport passengers stranded outside the Kingdom.
Farajat said the CARC, in coordination with relevant authorities, is working to maintain the continuity of air traffic in Jordanian airspace while prioritizing the safety of aircraft and passengers.
The CARC urged travelers to contact their airlines directly and confirm updated flight times and details before heading to airports to avoid confusion or congestion in terminal areas.
