Gaza Death Toll Rises To 73,470: Ministry
Amman, Sept. 2 (Petra) -- The death toll from the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,470, as 174,540 people were injured since October 7, 2023, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
In a statement Wednesday, the ministry said hospitals across the Strip received eight dead and 31 injured over the past 24 hours.
Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2026, the ministry said the death toll has risen to 1,334, with 4,429 injuries recorded.
The ministry also said multiple victims are stranded under the rubble and scattered on Gaza's roads, as ambulance and rescue crews failed to reach them.
