Saudi Arabia Denounces Iranian Attacks On Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait
Amman, Sept. 2 (Petra) -- Saudi Arabia on Wednesday denounced Iranian attacks on Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait, reiterating its full solidarity with the three countries in any measures they take to protect their security and sovereignty from any threat.
Saudi Arabia also condemned Iran's attack on the Saudi oil tanker SIDR as it transited the Strait of Hormuz, which killed members of the vessel's crew, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Saudi Foreign Ministry stressed the need to halt the escalation and respect the security and safety of international navigation, the security of global energy supplies, good-neighborliness, state sovereignty, the U.N. Charter, and international law and norms.
It called on all parties to de-escalate, halt the escalation, respect international law and return to negotiations and peaceful solutions.
