Kuwait Says Air Defenses Intercepted Hostile Drone Attacks

(MENAFN) Kuwait’s armed forces say their air defense systems are responding to attacks involving hostile drones and missiles, which they attribute to “Iranian aggression.”

The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces says its air defense units are actively dealing with the incoming threats and working to intercept hostile drones and missiles before they can reach their targets.

The military also explains that explosions heard in different areas of the country are linked to air defense systems engaging and intercepting the drones.

Authorities urge residents to remain calm and comply with all safety and security instructions issued by the government. The armed forces also call on the public to stay alert and rely on official announcements for updates about the situation.
