Viceversa Tools Rolls Out IMAP Category, Connecting 8 Formats To A Live Mailbox

NEW DELHI – Sept 2, 2026 – ViceVersa Tools launched IMAP today, releasing 8 tools that move mail between a live IMAP account and the file formats and services people actually store their mail in. A file sitting on a hard drive and a mailbox sitting on a mail server have always needed different handling, and most conversion tools stop at the file. IMAP was built to cover the rest of that trip.

The category works as a hub rather than a grid. Instead of connecting every format to every other format, each tool here connects one thing, a live IMAP account, to one of eight destinations:

.TGZ to/from IMAP - Moves TGZ archive packages into or out of IMAP
.IMAP to/from Office 365 - The one pairing in the category that skips file formats entirely, moving mail directly between a live IMAP account and Microsoft 365

Six of the eight tools provide a working IMAP account for a stored file to live in, or pull a live mailbox back down into a file for the first time. The seventh does the reverse job for TGZ archives, and the eighth does something none of the others do, moving mail between two live services rather than between a file and a service.
