Zelensky Forms Delegation For Talks On Centennial Partnership With Canada


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This is stipulated in Decree No. 107/2026-rp dated September 1, according to Ukrinform.

“Form a Ukrainian delegation to participate in negotiations with Canada on preparations for concluding a Centennial Partnership Agreement between Ukraine and Canada as follows: (...)” the document says.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mariana Betsa was appointed head of the delegation. The delegation comprises 20 representatives from the government, the Office of the President and other government agencies. Among them are First Deputy Head of the Office of the President Serhii Kyslytsia and Deputy Heads of the Office Pavlo Palisa, Oleksii Sobolev and Ihor Zhovkva.

Under the decree, the head of the delegation may, in accordance with established procedures, make changes to its composition and engage advisers, experts and technical staff to support its work.

The decree also approved the directives for the Ukrainian delegation to participate in negotiations with Canada on preparations for concluding the agreement.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, on February 26, the Verkhovna Rada ratified an agreement between Ukraine and Canada on the mutual protection of classified information.
