Jordan, Qatar Foreign Ministers Talk Ties, Regional Developments
Doha, September 1 (Petra) – Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani held talks in Doha on Tuesday on relations and regional developments.
The top diplomats discussed ways to strengthen and advance the deep-rooted relations between the two countries.
They exchanged views on regional developments, particularly efforts to de-escalate tensions, restore calm and promote security and stability across the region.
Safadi and Al Thani affirmed Jordan and Qatar's full support for all efforts and initiatives aimed at reaching a solution that guarantees freedom of navigation and culminates in a comprehensive agreement addressing the root causes of the crisis and achieving sustainable security and stability in the region.
The two ministers agreed to continue cooperation, coordination and consultation on strengthening relations, addressing regional developments and advancing issues of common interest.
