DIU Confirms Strike On Novatek-Ust-Luga Complex
“On September 1, 2026, operators from the Department of Active Operations and the Department of Unmanned Systems of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as part of a joint deep-strike operation with the Ukrainian Defense Forces, struck the“Novatek-Ust-Luga” complex in the Leningrad Oblast of Russia,” the statement reads.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Telegram channel Astra previously reported that on the night of Monday, September 1, drones attacked the port of Ust-Luga in Russia's Leningrad Oblas, causing a fire in the port area.
