Job Creation For Jordanians Hits Record 87,617 In 2025 - Dos
The report showed that 46,719 net jobs were created in the Jordanian labour market during the second half of 2025, with Jordanians accounting for 91 per cent of those positions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The private sector generated 73.1 per cent of the net jobs created during the second half of the year, according to the report.
People aged between 20 and 29 accounted for the largest share of the newly created jobs, at 78.8 per cent, or 36,829 positions.
The report also showed that women secured half of the net job opportunities created for university degree holders.
The education sector accounted for the largest share of net jobs during the second half of 2025, at 24.8 per cent, followed by public administration, which accounted for 13.3 per cent.
