India-Denmark Strengthen MSME Cooperation With Focus On Innovation & IP


(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Sep 1 (KNN) India and Denmark reviewed measures to strengthen cooperation in MSME development, innovation and intellectual property (IP) during the 4th India–Denmark Joint Working Group (JWG) meeting held in Copenhagen from August 24 to 28, 2026.

The meeting brought together officials from India's Ministry of MSME and the Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO). Discussions covered technology adoption, innovation, IP, technology commercialisation, entrepreneurship and cluster-based MSME development.

The Indian delegation was led by Dr. Rajneesh, Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner, Ministry of MSME, while the Danish delegation included senior officials from DKPTO and the Royal Danish Embassy.

The Indian delegation also visited Aarhus University Innovation“Kitchen” and Agro Food Park and held discussions with Denmark's Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs on innovation, entrepreneurship and the SME ecosystem.

The delegation participated in the Nordic–India Startup Summit 2026 organised by TechBBQ, engaging with stakeholders from the Nordic start-up and innovation ecosystem.

The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to knowledge exchange, institutional linkages and innovation and IP-led MSME development.
