Profile Articles

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering at Drexel University's College of Engineering, where I lead the CIRCLE research group (Circular Innovations for Resilient Communities and Livable Environments). My research focuses on life cycle assessment, circular economy and resilience in the built environment. Before pursuing a PhD and moving into sustainability research, I trained and worked as an architect, which shapes how I approach the built environment in my current work. I have published several peer-reviewed articles on sustainability, circular economy, and resilience in the built environment, in journals like the Journal of Industrial Ecology, One Earth (Cell Press), Sustainable Cities and Society, Urban Climate, Journal of Construction Engineering and Management, Journal of Architectural Engineering, Local Environment, among others.
