Evest Celebrates Emirati Women’s impact in social and communities building

(MENAFN- MENAFNEditorial) Evest marked Emirati Women’s Month with a visit to Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs, shining a light on the role Emirati women play in leading organisations and initiatives that make a meaningful difference in their communities. The visit also recognised women who have dedicated their careers to community service and the empowerment of People of Determination.
At the heart of the initiative was the story of Dr. Nadia Al Sayegh, Founder and Director General of Senses center, whose decades of work have helped advance specialised care, rehabilitation and support for People of Determination, while creating greater opportunities for their inclusion in society.
Reflecting on Emirati Women’s Month, Dr. Nadia Al Sayegh said: “Throughout my journey in humanitarian and community service, I have seen Emirati women take their place at the forefront, inspired by the values of giving, loyalty and hope championed by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Mother of the Nation. I encourage every Emirati woman to take pride in what she has achieved and to turn her success into a positive and lasting impact on the lives of others. The true measure of success lies in the difference we make in our communities.
“We deeply appreciate Evest’s visit and the moments its team shared with the children at the centre. Initiatives like these reflect the values of giving and social responsibility and show what can be achieved when institutions and individuals come together in service of the community. Together, we emerge stronger and better.”
During the visit, the Evest team joined children and staff at Senses Center for a series of interactive activities and presented gifts to the children. The initiative brought together the celebration of Emirati women with recognition of those working across humanitarian and community-focused fields.

Established in 2004, Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs is a UAE-based non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting People of Determination. It provides residential care, education, rehabilitation and specialised therapeutic services for children, alongside community initiatives and partnerships aimed at strengthening inclusion and creating greater opportunities for participation in society.
The initiative forms part of Evest’s wider approach to marking national occasions through meaningful community engagement, while highlighting Emirati role models whose work continues to create positive and sustainable impact.
