NSF To HTML Converter Gets Datavare 2.0 Update With Preview, Selective Export And 19 Languages

Sep 1, 2026 - Lotus Notes holdouts converting NSF files to HTML now have more say in what comes out of the process, as DataVare Software brings its NSF to HTML Converter Expert up to Version 2.0.

The tool exists for a narrow but persistent problem: NSF files can only be opened natively inside Lotus Notes, so anyone who needs that mail readable elsewhere, in a browser or on a system without Notes installed, has to convert it first. Earlier releases already let users preview a file's contents and pick which NSF file to work with. Version 2.0 builds on both of those habits rather than replacing them. The preview screen has been expanded so users can look through emails, contacts, notes, and calendar items in more detail before running a conversion, and the export process now goes a step further into a single NSF file, letting specific folders be pulled out instead of converting the whole thing at once.

Alongside those changes, the interface has been reworked to cut down on the back and forth between locating a file and finishing the export, aimed at the many non technical users who rely on this tool without an IT team nearby. The update also adds support for 19 languages, moving the software past its English only interface and opening it up to users working in other markets.
