Death Toll From Overnight Atack On Kyiv Rises To Eight, Seven Injured


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrinform reports this, citing a Facebook post by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

In Kyiv's Solomianskyi district, a private house caught fire after a UAV fell on it. The house was completely destroyed. Four people were injured, including children aged 13 and 15.

Russian forces attacked the Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts with ballistic missiles.

Seven Ukrzaliznytsia employees were killed in Darnytsia, while one person was killed at an enterprise in the Holosiivskyi district.

Three residents of a private house in the Darnytskyi district, including a 10-year-old boy, were also injured. They sustained minor injuries and cuts.

Rescuers and law enforcement officers are working at the sites of the strikes and falling debris.

Under the procedural supervision of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, a pretrial investigation has been launched into another Russian war crime that resulted in fatalities, under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian air defenses neutralized five ballistic missiles, two S8000 Banderyl missiles, five Kalibr missiles and 187 drones launched by Russian forces on Ukraine since the evening of August 31.
