Israeli New Attacks Kill Five Palestinians, Injure Others in Gaza
(MENAFN) Five Palestinians are killed and several others are wounded in Israeli attacks across different parts of the Gaza Strip on Monday, as Israeli forces continue military actions despite a ceasefire that has been in effect since October 2025.
Three Palestinians lose their lives and others sustain injuries when an Israeli drone targets a civilian vehicle in the Tal al-Hawa area of southern Gaza City. The victims are taken to Al-Shifa Hospital, according to medical officials.
Earlier in the day, another Israeli drone attack strikes the entrance of a residential building near Gaza Municipality Park in central Gaza City, killing two Palestinians and injuring others, medical sources say.
Separately, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reports that its teams transport five fishermen to Al-Shifa Hospital and Al-Saraya Field Hospital after they are injured by gunfire from Israeli naval vessels operating off the Gaza coast.
Witnesses say Israeli warboats fire on and shell fishing boats while the fishermen are working in the waters near Gaza City, leaving several people wounded.
In northern Gaza, a 16-year-old boy is also injured after an Israeli drone drops a bomb in Beit Lahia, according to a medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital.
