KP To Set Up Libraries In 210 Religious Seminaries
A distribution ceremony for the educational materials was held at the Auqaf Department building.
According to officials, educational materials were provided to 140 seminaries in settled districts and 70 seminaries in the merged districts of the province. A total of 11,760 textbooks have been distributed among the 210 seminaries under the project.
Each seminary has been provided with seven sets of books for different educational levels, including Darja-e-Ula, Sania, Salisa, Rabia, Khamisa, Sadisa, Mauqoof Alaih and Daur-e-Hadith.

A total of 2,940 furniture items are also being provided to support reading and research activities in the seminaries. These include 420 bookshelves, 420 library tables and 2,100 chairs. Each seminary is receiving two bookshelves, two library tables and 10 chairs.
Provincial Minister for Auqaf Muhammad Adnan Qadri said the purpose of the project is to improve madrasa students' access to textbooks and provide them with a modern educational environment for reading and research.
He said establishing libraries in seminaries would help enhance students' academic and research skills.
