Karthi returns as Agent Sardar and the teaser of Sardar 2 has already started to make waves among the audience of Tamil cinema. The spy thriller film, which is a sequel to Sardar, which was released in 2022, was unveiled on August 31, directed by P. S. Mithran.

What Does the Trailer Reveal?

The almost three minutes long trailer reveals Agent Sardar dealing with an old yet new challenge, where he also takes some aspects of his past into account. The audience gets a taste of the big action sequences, espionage and the confrontation between Sardar and S. J. Suryah's character.

In the cast, apart from the leading actors, there are also Malavika Mohanan, Ashika Ranganath, Rajisha Vijayan and Yogi Babu. Rajisha Vijayan appears again from the previous movie, but many new people appear in the sequel's cast.

Sardar 2 will hit theaters on September 10, 2026, with a global release. P. S. Mithran is going to be once again directing the film, Sam C. S. doing the music and background score while George C. Williams is the cinematographer and Vijay Velukutty is the editor.
