China-Asean Trade Exceeds US$1 Tln For First Time In 2025
BEIJING, Sept 1 (NNN-Xinhua) -- China's trade with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) exceeded US$1 trillion for the first time last year, with bilateral trade value reaching US$1.05 trillion, up 7.4 per cent year on year, an official said on Tuesday, reported Xinhua.
China has remained ASEAN's largest trading partner for 17 consecutive years, while ASEAN has been China's biggest trading partner for six successive years, China's Vice Minister of Commerce Yan Dong noted.
In the first seven months of 2026, total trade between China and ASEAN reached US$744.41 billion, an increase of 24.7 per cent year on year, accounting for 21.8 per cent of China's total foreign trade during this period.
