Safadi, Bahraini Counterpart Discuss Bilateral Relations, Regional Developments
Safadi and Al Zayani discussed the deep-rooted relations between Jordan and Bahrain and ways to enhance cooperation in a manner that serves the interests of both countries, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
The two top diplomats also discussed the repercussions of the escalation in the region, and efforts aimed at restoring calm and enhancing security and stability.
Safadi and Al Zayani condemned the Iranian attacks on Jordan.
Al Zayani affirmed Bahrain's solidarity with Jordan in all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as the safety of its citizens.
The two ministers also discussed regional developments and their implications for regional and international peace and security, as well as prospects for joint coordination to strengthen Arab cooperation, in addition to several issues of mutual concern.
