Political scientist with 30 years of experience in public policy and research and program delivery with Indigenous and Northern communities in Canada, Russia, Scandinavia, and Alaska working on governance, northern development, energy policy, renewable energy, and Indigenous rights. 20 years of experience as a professional negotiator for Indigenous (FSIN), government, and industry (SaskPower currently) on Indigenous relations. Winner of 2009 Donner Prize for best book in public policy for Arctic Front (with three co-authors). And past Co-Lead of the Fulbright Arctic Initiative III, leading 19 scholars from the eight Arctic states on multidisciplinary research and policy development.
