Emma Cowie is a paediatric occupational therapist, academic and researcher with more than 15 years' clinical experience across early intervention, schools, community and private practice. She is Deputy Course Director of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University and leads research in paediatric occupational therapy. Her research interests include neurodiversity-affirming practice, interoception, sensory processing, self-regulation, participation and collaboration between occupational therapists and educators.
