Dr Farzana Adeel is a Professional Teaching Fellow at the University of Auckland Business School. She holds a PhD in International Business and Management from the University of Auckland, where her research examined the experiences of high-skilled immigrant entrepreneurs in New Zealand.
Her research examines how more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems can widen access to opportunities, networks, and resources for immigrant and marginalised entrepreneurs. She is particularly interested in how greater inclusion can benefit both entrepreneurs and the wider economy through innovation, job creation, and productivity. Her work aims to generate insights that can inform entrepreneurship policy and practice.
Her recent research has been published in Entrepreneurship & Regional Development and the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour & Research.
