IED Blast Hits Police Vehicle In Karak, Driver Martyred, Six Injured
KARAK: A police mobile was targeted with an improvised explosive device (IED) near Ghul Dam in Bahadur Khel area of Karak, leaving police driver Wajid martyred and six other personnel injured.
According to police, personnel from Banda Daud Shah Police Station were travelling in an official vehicle to Dargha Shaheedan for a search operation when the police mobile was targeted by a roadside IED.

Karak DPO Imran Khan said the blast caused the police vehicle to overturn completely. The driver, Wajid, was martyred, while six personnel - Noor Shah Ali, Syed Shah, Imran, Yaseen, Shamim and Riaz - were injured.
According to DPO Imran Khan, he reached the site along with additional police personnel following the blast. The injured officials were shifted from the scene, while the damaged police mobile was also removed from the area.
A search operation by the police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) is currently underway in the area.
