Ukraine's Defense Forces Strike Russian Radar, S-400 Command-And-Staff Vehicle And Supply Depots


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrinform reports this, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's post on Facebook.

“In particular, an enemy radar station was struck in Desnyansky district of Russia's Bryansk region. A command-and-staff vehicle from an S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system was also struck near Ploskobukreivka in Russia's Bryansk region,” the post reads.

In addition, a communications hub belonging to a Russian unit was struck in Zimovnoe, Belgorod region, Russia, as well as an enemy UAV command post near Huliaipole in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region.

Among other targets, Ukrainian forces struck materiel depots belonging to Russian units in Kyr-Baylar (temporarily occupied Crimea), Verkhnokamianka in the Luhansk region, and Popovo-Lezhachy in Russia's Kursk region.

The extent of the damage is being assessed.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, a major fire broke out near the Dzhankoi airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea during the day on August 30. A vehicle fleet, a fuel depot, and a nearby electrical substation were reportedly affected by the fire.
