Fire At Drevlianskyi Nature Reserve In Zhytomyr Region Extinguished After More Than A Week
The fire was extinguished on the morning of August 31 after covering 4.5 hectares.
The day before, rescuers and forestry workers reported containing a ground fire covering 3.7 hectares. Earlier, it was reported that a forest fire had broken out on August 20 at the Drevlianskyi Nature Reserve in the Zhytomyr region and initially covered nearly four hectares.
The area affected by the fire later increased to 49 hectares and subsequently reached 59 hectares.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, rescuers also extinguished a forest-floor fire in the Bohdanivske forestry area near the village of Bohdany in Vyshhorod district of the Kyiv region.
