Israeli Settlers Kill Four Palestinians in West Bank Village
(MENAFN) Four Palestinians were shot and wounded Sunday evening after Israeli occupiers stormed the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its crews transported four people with gunshot wounds to the hospital.
Palestine's official news agency reported that groups of Israeli occupiers attacked the village under the protection of Israeli forces, damaging Palestinian vehicles and triggering confrontations with residents. The occupiers also attempted to storm several homes — including one belonging to resident Shaaban Abu Aliya — while others advanced on houses along the village's western edge, according to the agency.

Earlier in the day, Israeli forces sealed off the village entrance, blocking Palestinians from entering or leaving, the news agency reported. The agency said the closure coincided with Israeli occupiers and their livestock spreading across areas south and west of the village under army protection.
Al-Mughayyir and neighboring Palestinian communities across the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate have endured repeated attacks by Israeli occupiers, including livestock grazing on Palestinian land and outright land seizures.
Elsewhere in the occupied West Bank, Israeli occupiers struck Palestinian homes in Beita, south of Nablus, damaging the contents of one house, the news agency said. In the southern West Bank, occupiers also launched infrastructure work at a newly established illegal settlement outpost in al-Minya, southeast of Bethlehem, the agency added.
The West Bank has seen escalating Israeli military offensives and occupier violence since Israel launched its war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023 — a surge accompanied by expanding illegal settlement outposts, construction of occupier-only roads, and tightening restrictions on Palestinian movement.
