(MENAFN) US President Donald Trump shares an AI-generated video late Sunday portraying the imagined destruction of Iran’s Kharg Island, describing the strategic oil hub as being “blown to smithereens.”
“Kharg Island being blown to smithereens!!! President DJT,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
The post comes after US forces reportedly strike two Iranian missile launchers on Larak Island on Sunday. The operation marks the first reported US strikes on Iranian territory since late July.
