Iran Launches Missiles Toward Regional Targets

(MENAFN) Iran launches missiles from several locations across the country toward targets in the region early Monday, according to reports.

Iranian state television reports that missile launches were carried out from multiple areas, while other reports say Iranian forces also directed missiles toward US vessels operating in the Strait of Hormuz. No further details were immediately provided.

Separate reports indicate that explosions were heard in the southern Iranian city of Sirik, with state media suggesting the incident could be connected to Iranian military activity in the Strait of Hormuz.

Senior Iranian lawmaker Ebrahim Azizi warns that Iran will respond to any further attacks, issuing a strong message of retaliation.

“Test our will once more, and pay a heavier price,” Azizi wrote on US social media platform X.

He added: “Retaliation is coming; just run!”

Azizi further warns that any attempt to challenge Iran’s resolve again would result in greater consequences, describing the expected cost as a response to what he called “humiliating defeats.”

“No crime, at any level, will go unanswered,” he said, warning of a “devastating, more painful and instructive” response that would complete what he called a series of defeats.
