Firefighters Put Out Fire At Carpentry In Downtown Amman
Amman, August 30 (Petra) – Firefighters from the East Amman Civil Defence Department on Sunday evening extinguished a fire that broke out at a carpentry and in downtown Amman, according to the Public Security Directorate (PSD).
The PSD media office stated that the fire covered an area of approximately 200 square meters.
Firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring shops and buildings. No injuries were reported.
The PSD stated that a video circulating on social media showing two people falling during a fire is old and unrelated to the incident that occurred on Sunday.
It urged Jordanians to verify information before sharing or publishing old footage as though it were connected to current incidents.
