War Update: 186 Clashes On Front Line, Pokrovsk And Kostiantynivka Sectors Remain Hottest

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrinform reported this, citing operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook as of 22:00 on August 30, 2026.

“A total of 186 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of the day. The aggressor carried out 57 airstrikes using 193 guided aerial bombs, deployed 7,190 kamikaze drones for attacks, and conducted 2,085 strikes against our troops' positions and populated areas,” the General Staff said.

According to the General Staff, in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy launched one attack and carried out 43 strikes against the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions three times toward Vovchanski Khutory, Volokhivka, and Rybalchyne.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces made five attempts to improve their positions by conducting assault operations toward Dovhenke, Radkivka, and Kupiansk.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 10 attempts by Russian troops to advance near Novoselivka, Stavky, and Lyman, as well as near Hrekivka and Dibrova. Two of these attacks are still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces stopped five attempts by Russian forces to advance near Kryva Luka, Dibrova, Zakitne, Mykolaivka, and Riznykivka. Fighting continues in two locations.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces conducted an assault toward Fedorivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 20 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Pavlivka, Stepanivka, Raiske, Vilne, and Kucheriv Yar. One clash is still ongoing.

The enemy launched 23 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. Russian forces attempted to advance toward Bilytske, Dobropillia, Novohryshyne, Myrne, and Serhiivka, as well as near Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Novopidhorodne, and Udachne. Two attacks are ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, 57 Russian troops were killed and 14 wounded in this sector today. Ukrainian forces destroyed two vehicles, one artillery piece, four special-purpose assets, and 26 personnel shelters. Another three artillery pieces, one vehicle, and 87 personnel shelters were damaged. A total of 380 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces launched an attack toward Ternove.

In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces repelled 10 enemy attacks toward Vozdvyzhivka, Rizdvianka, Rivne, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped two attempts by Russian forces to advance near Mala Tokmachka and Shcherbaky.

In the Prydniprovske sector, Russian forces attempted to improve their positions once.

No significant changes in the situation were reported in the other sectors.

As Ukrinform reported, Russia launched 1,500 jet-powered Shaheds at Ukraine in July and 2,500 in August.
