MOI Reminds Students Of Safety Guidelines For School Bus Journeys
Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has reminded students and families of key safety measures to follow while travelling to and from school, stressing that ensuring students' safety is a shared responsibility.
As part of its back-to-school safety awareness campaign, the Ministry urged students using school buses to sit in their designated seats and fasten their seat belts throughout the journey.
Students should also wait until the school bus has come to a complete stop before getting on or off and pay close attention to moving vehicles when crossing the road.
The Ministry further advised students to stay away from the edge of the road while waiting for their school bus.
“For the safety of our students, we remind everyone of the importance of following safety guidelines when travelling to and from school. Ensuring the safety of our students is a shared responsibility,” the Ministry said.
