Israeli Forces Injure Six Palestinians During West Bank Camp Raid
(MENAFN) Six Palestinians sustain injuries after Israeli forces use tear gas during a late-night raid on the Al-Faraa refugee camp south of Tubas in the northern occupied West Bank, according to reports.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society says its medical teams treat all six victims at the scene after they suffer from tear gas inhalation.
The incident occurs as Israeli forces carry out further incursions across several parts of the occupied West Bank.
In Al-Bireh, Israeli troops enter multiple neighborhoods and deploy across the city, according to reports. No arrests or searches of Palestinian homes are reported during the operation.
Elsewhere, Israeli forces raid the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, and fire tear gas in the direction of Palestinian homes. No injuries are reported in the incident.
In the Old City of Hebron, Israeli soldiers reportedly assault journalists and prevent them from carrying out their work as Israeli settlers enter the area under military escort.
Witnesses report that a group of settlers, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, enters the Old City and heads toward the Bab al-Baladiyeh area.
Israeli forces also restrict the movement of Palestinian residents and shopkeepers, preventing them from passing through parts of the area, according to witnesses.
Israeli military operations continue to take place across the occupied West Bank on an almost daily basis, with such incursions frequently involving gunfire, searches of Palestinian homes and arrests.
