Amman, Aug. 30 (Petra) -- Minister of Transport and Minister of Labor Nidal Qatamin said Sunday that the first package of upgraded electronic systems designed to automate Labor Ministry services is expected to be launched within the next two months.

The rollout is part of a broader project undertaken in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship to modernize the ministry's electronic systems and expand the automation of its services.

Qatamin said the first package will cover services related to non-Jordanian workers, while additional digital services and system upgrades will be introduced in subsequent phases.

Each phase will be announced once completed, he said, noting that the project will also include the modernization and automation of services for domestic workers.

The ministry also plans to expand access to its electronic services through the Sanad application, allowing users to complete transactions more efficiently and reducing the time and effort required to access Labor Ministry services.

Qatamin said cybersecurity and data protection are being incorporated into the upgraded systems, in line with the government's drive to expand digital public services while ensuring the security of users' data.
