(MENAFN- ITC Media) Abu Dhabi on Friday, 28 August 2026 – The Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), an affiliate of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, is participating in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2026), taking place from 28 August to 6 September 2026. At its stand, the Centre is showcasing the Drone Traffic Management System, alongside digital services that support the regulation and operation of drones across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The participation reflects the Centre’s commitment to advancing a smart, safe, and integrated mobility ecosystem, promoting the responsible use of modern technologies while supporting Abu Dhabi’s aspirations to enhance quality of life and community safety.
The Centre’s participation highlights the regulatory and service framework governing drones, while guiding hobbyists and individuals, particularly falconers and practitioners of heritage activities, on the approved registration and permitting requirements within the Emirate’s airspace. The Centre’s stand offers an integrated interactive experience, including direct engagement with a specialised team to address inquiries, explain regulations and regulatory requirements, and demonstrate the operational screens of the Unmanned Traffic Management Platform (UTM). A QR code is also available to enable users to complete the registration of their drones seamlessly and efficiently through the smart application of the UAE Drones Unified Platform, ensuring that these activities are carried out in accordance with the highest safety standards and airspace protection requirements.

In this context, Dr Abdulla Hamad AlGhfeli, Acting Director General of the Integrated Transport Centre, said: “Our participation in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition reflects the Centre’s commitment to strengthening direct engagement with community members and providing advanced digital services that support the safe and responsible use of drones. This participation also forms part of our ongoing efforts to enhance compliance with regulatory frameworks and foster a culture of responsible operations among users, while enabling hobbyists and falconers to carry out their activities within a clear and seamless regulatory framework that balances the benefits of modern technologies with safeguarding the airspace, in line with Abu Dhabi’s direction towards developing a smart, integrated, and sustainable mobility ecosystem.”
The Integrated Transport Centre’s participation in the exhibition underscores its commitment to enhancing customer readiness and enabling access to advanced digital services related to drones through direct technical and regulatory support, while reinforcing safe and organised practices that enhance service efficiency and support the Emirate’s objectives in innovation, safety, and sustainability.
