Four Killed in Gaza as Israeli Strikes Breach Ceasefire
(MENAFN) Four Palestinians were killed and 11 others wounded Saturday in a series of Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, medical sources told media, marking the latest breach of an ongoing ceasefire.
In the most recent strike, an Israeli drone killed one Palestinian and injured four others in central Khan Younis.
In a separate incident, an airstrike struck an electric bicycle belonging to a private delivery company in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood southwest of Gaza City, killing two Palestinians and wounding two more.
Sources also reported that three Palestinians were injured when an Israeli airstrike hit a medicine warehouse at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza. According to the sources, all three were inside the hospital at the time the warehouse was struck.
East of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, Israeli gunfire aimed at farmers working their land killed one Palestinian and left another seriously wounded, sources said. Witnesses reported that an Israeli quadcopter drone opened fire on the victim as he worked in the fields.
In Khan Younis, one person was injured when an Israeli drone struck a displaced persons camp in the Al-Ard al-Tayyiba area of Al-Mawasi.
Gaza's Health Ministry reports that 1,313 Palestinians have been killed and 4,361 wounded in Israeli violations since the truce took hold last October. Since the war began in October 2023, Israel's offensive in Gaza has killed at least 73,449 people and injured 174,472 others, according to ministry figures.
