Greece's World Cup Hopes Dim After Loss to Ukraine
(MENAFN) Greece's bid to reach the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup suffered another setback Friday, falling 82-76 on the road to Ukraine in a result that deepens an already troubled qualifying run.
Coached by Vassilis Spanoulis, Greece entered the match already reeling from a rough start to the campaign, having lost to both Romania and Portugal in the first round back in July.
