"The Armed Forces of Ukraine stand guard over the security of our state and its people and do everything possible to protect residents of peaceful cities and towns. However, yesterday, as a result of a Russian aggressor airstrike on the village of Myla in Kyiv region's Bucha district, dozens of our fellow citizens were killed or injured," the statement said.

The Armed Forces expressed their sincere condolences to the relatives and loved ones of those killed, as well as to all residents of the Kyiv region affected by the tragedy. The root cause of the tragedy is the aggressor state, the Russian Federation, the General Staff emphasized.
