Church Of Scientology Nashville Hosts Volunteer Ministers Cavalcade, Offers Free Tools For Everyday Life
Visitors who stopped by the church were invited to explore the Cavalcade exhibit and learn about simple, workable solutions to problems many people encounter in daily life - from communication breakdowns to managing stress and staying organized. Attendees were able to scan a QR code on-site to visit volunteerministers, where they could sign up for a free online course tailored to an area of their life they'd like to improve.
The Volunteer Ministers program, based on the works of L. Ron Hubbard, has trained volunteers around the world to deliver practical assistance in communities, offering free educational courses covering topics such as effective communication, marriage, raising children, and personal integrity.
Adding to the day's activities, a local fire truck joined the event for a show-and-tell, giving attendees - including families with children - an up-close look at fire and rescue equipment while firefighters shared information about their work and basic safety tips.
“Events like this are about meeting people where they are and giving them free, practical tools they can use right away,” said Julie Brinker, Community Affairs Director of the Church of Scientology Nashville.“Pairing that with our local fire department made it a great opportunity for the whole community to come together and learn.”
