Around 80 Sites Damaged In Bucha District - Tkachenko

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Kyiv Regional State Administration head Tymur Tkachenko said this during a TV broadcast, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Preliminarily, around 80 sites have been damaged - mostly private houses, as well as cars, a restaurant complex and a high-rise building. The constant shelling and threat of repeated strikes are making the work of rescuers, medics, volunteers, law enforcement officers and utility workers at the scene extremely difficult. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who is working selflessly today," Tkachenko said.

He warned that it is still unsafe for residents to return home. Rescue workers remain at the scene.

An emergency response center has been set up in the Dmytrivska community, where residents are receiving all necessary assistance, information, psychological support and hot meals.

As reported, 37 people were killed in Bucha district, Kyiv region, as a result of the Russian attack on the evening of August 28. Among those killed was Taras Didych, head of the Dmytrivska settlement community, who was one of the first to arrive at the scene of the attack to help people.
