Defense Ministry Calls On Defense Industry Leaders To Audit Storage Of Weapons And Ammunition
"We bow our heads in deep mourning together with every family that lost loved ones in the horrific tragedy in the village of Myla in Kyiv region. As of 14:50 on August 29, 37 people are known to have been killed and 15 injured. Two more people are still being searched for under the rubble," the statement said.
The Defense Ministry stressed that locating warehouses containing explosives near residential buildings is unacceptable.

Such facilities must not be located near residential buildings," the ministry emphasized.
Rescuers, medics and police officers are working at the site of the tragedy in Bucha district of Kyiv region, while local communities are doing everything possible to rescue and support those affected.
Russia will inevitably be held accountable for all crimes against Ukrainians that it commits on Ukrainian soil, the Defense Ministry added.
As Ukrinform reported, 37 people were killed in Bucha district of Kyiv region as a result of a Russian attack on the evening of August 28.
