Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - August 28, 2026) - At Soluna, every experience begins with a simple belief: the world feels smaller when people gather together. Through food, music, design, and storytelling, Soluna creates places where strangers become friends and moments become memories. It's a belief that shapes everything Soluna creates.

Nowhere does that happen better than at the EX.

This summer, Soluna brings two original pop-up experiences to the Better Living Centre from August 21st - September 7th, 2026.

Layla's Garden is a sprawling open-air patio and fully licensed cafe, where guests can enjoy shaded seats, great food, ice-cold drinks, and live music beneath the summer sky from day into night. Hidden just beyond is Majnoon, an intimate speakeasy bar (19+) inspired by the timeless legend of Layla and Majnun: the Middle Eastern "Romeo & Juliet". A love story first told in Arabic, embraced across Persia and South Asia, eventually making its way to the streets of 1970's London.

"For us, bringing Layla's Garden and Majnoon to the CNE is about honoring that universal connection," said Dan Gunam of Soluna. "The EX is a place where people from every background come together, and we're excited to create spaces that celebrate global culture, great hospitality, and shared moments."

The story of Layla and Manjun proves that love belongs to no single country, but to everyone who carries it in their hearts. There's still something beautifully Canadian about that.

"We are excited to partner with Soluna to bring an elevated dining and hospitality experience to the CNE Casino footprint. It's part of our broader vision to bring new, exciting experiences year round," says Mark Holland, CEO of the CNE.

Beyond dynamic nightlife and immersive atmosphere, the pop-ups spotlight Soluna's culinary prowess with distinct, thoughtfully curated food and cocktail offerings designed exclusively for the CNE. Layla's Garden delivers vibrant and elevated, yet approachable family friendly fare like Gourmet Beef Hot Dogs, Signature Poutine and Cheeseburgers. Inside, Majnoon offers an intimate, multi-sensory tasting experience anchored by signature tapas-such as Mini Savory Pastillas, spiced beef Kafta Burgers, and crispy phyllo cigars-paired alongside artisanal cocktails infused with Turkish coffee Campari, saffron, and cardamom.

Whether stopping by for an afternoon drink beneath the sun or stepping into the speakeasy for an unforgettable night of music and storytelling, visitors are invited to experience a fresh, vibrant chapter of a quintessential Toronto tradition. Let's go to the EX.

Layla's Garden: Open Daily from August 21 - September 7, 2026, 12:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Full menu available here Majnoon: Open Fridays and Saturdays only between August 21 - September 5, 2026, 8:00PM - 2:00AM. Full menu available here
