Ukrainian President Plans To Intensify Drone Attacks Deep Inside Russia
Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy threatened today to intensify drone attacks deep inside Russian territory.
In a televised address to the nation, Zelenskyy stated, "The mission is to carry out 1,000 drone attacks daily against Russia at long range," noting that more than 300 such attacks are currently being conducted on average.
He emphasized the increase in drone attacks and his country's continued use of weapons to repel Russian attacks, stressing that Ukraine must significantly increase the production of interceptor missiles specifically designed to counter Russian drones.
He also explained that Kyiv's practical objective is to force Moscow to the negotiating table through military action.
Despite Kyiv targeting oil refineries, logistics centers, and Russian military objectives, Moscow has downplayed the attacks, although it has acknowledged the damage.
