War Update: 242 Combat Clashes On Front Line Over Past Day, Most On Pokrovsk Front
The enemy carried out 77 airstrikes, dropping 284 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, Russian forces used 9,213 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,987 shelling attacks.
In the Sumy region, artillery shelling targeted Mala Korchakivka, Bilovody, Shpyl, Yunakivka, Mohrytsia, Oleksiivka, Ulanove, Ivolzhanske, and Yastrubshchyna.

Ukraine's air force, missile forces, and artillery struck three areas where Russian personnel were concentrated and three command posts for unmanned aerial vehicles.
On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk fronts, Ukrainian forces stopped one enemy assault.
On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna front, Ukrainian units repelled eight Russian attacks. Russian forces attempted to advance near Starytsia and toward Zakharivka, Okhrimivka, and Volokhivka.
On the Kupiansk front, the enemy attacked once in the direction of Novoosynove.
On the Lyman front, Russian forces launched 11 attacks near Lyman and Dibrova and toward Shyikivka, Hrekivka, and Stavky.
On the Sloviansk front, the enemy carried out eight assault operations near Zakitne and Kryva Luka and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kramatorsk front, Russian forces attacked five times toward Zapovidne and Yurkivka.
On the Kostiantynivka front, 24 attacks were recorded. Russian forces conducted assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Novoselivka.
On the Pokrovsk front, Ukraine's Defense Forces stopped 41 attacks. The enemy was active near Kotlyne, Serhiivka, and Molodetske and launched assaults toward Toretsk, Sofiivka, Vilne, Dobropillia, Novohryshyne, Udachne, Muravka, Biliakivka, and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka front, Russian forces carried out five attacks toward Piddubne, Maliivka, and Rybne.
On the Huliaipole front, Russian forces attacked 15 times, attempting to advance near Hirke and toward Rizdviianka, Dolynka, Kopani, and Yehorivka.
On the Orikhiv front, Ukraine's Defense Forces stopped four attempts by Russian forces to advance toward Krasnohirka and Novopavlivka.
On the Prydniprovske front, the enemy conducted no assault operations.

As Ukrinform reported, total Russian military casualties since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, through August 29, 2026, are estimated at approximately 1,485,200 personnel.
