Israeli Army Detains Seven Palestinians During New West Bank Raids

(MENAFN) Israeli forces arrest seven Palestinians and assault two others during raids across the occupied
West Bank on Wednesday, according to Palestinian sources. The operations also include the
installation of a gate blocking the only road connecting three Palestinian homes in Qusra, where
residents remain surrounded by Israeli forces and settlers.

The Palestinian Prisoner Society says Israeli troops detain three people in Jenin province after
searching their homes. Those arrested include a woman and a man who has a disability caused
by an earlier Israeli gunshot injury.

In Qalqilya province, Israeli forces raid the town of Azzun and search a Palestinian home before
taking one resident into custody.

A young Palestinian man is also arrested in the Dheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem.
Meanwhile, local sources report that Israeli settlers take several sheep belonging to a Palestinian
resident of Al-Ubeidiya, east of Bethlehem province.

Two additional Palestinians are detained in Hebron province during raids on homes in Adh-
Dhahiriya and the Al-Fawwar refugee camp. One of those arrested has previously been detained,
while local sources say Israeli soldiers assault both men during the arrests.

The latest raids come amid continued Israeli military operations and restrictions across the
occupied West Bank.
