Amy is a Chartered Psychologist, Chartered Scientist and Registered Forensic Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She has experience developing, leading and teaching BPS accredited Forensic Psychology courses and is a member of the BPS Division of Forensic Psychology Training Committee (DFPTC).

Amy is also the REF Unit of Assessment 4 (UoA4; Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience) Coordinator and research lead for the Psychological Sciences discipline. She is passionate about research and helping to develop and mentor other researchers. Her main research interests focus on sexual violence and the application of psychology within police and investigatory settings.
