Civil Defense Responds To More Than 1,700 Emergencies In 24 Hours

Amman, Aug. 28 (Petra)-- The Directorate-General of Civil Defense at the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said it handled 1,752 ambulance cases over the past 24 hours, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 36 seconds.

It added that its teams also responded to 152 rescue incidents, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 33 seconds, and 163 firefighting incidents, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 35 seconds.

The directorate said that 48 hours earlier, its teams had handled 1,640 ambulance cases, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 35 seconds. They also responded to 163 rescue incidents, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 33 seconds, and 106 firefighting incidents, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 34 seconds.
