Israeli Settlers Prevent Palestinians From Performing Friday Prayers In West Bank Area
Ramallah, Aug. 28 (Petra)-- Extremist Jewish settlers on Friday prevented Palestinian residents from performing Friday prayer in Khirbet Tana, located within the lands of Beit Furik, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
In a statement, the Beit Furik Municipal Council said a group of settlers, dressed in Israeli military uniforms, stormed the eastern area of Beit Furik and prevented residents from heading to perform prayers at the Al-Wali and Haj Hussein mosques in Khirbet Tana.
The area, located near Beit Furik, is under threat of confiscation by the Israeli occupation authorities and extremist settlers, the statement added.
